Loop

  • Loop In: loops before the first keyframe
  • Loop Out: loops beyond the last keyframe
  • In & Out: loops both before the first keyframe and beyond the last

Options

  • Keys: how many keys make the loop: the last ones for Loop Out, the first ones for Loop In. 0 uses all keys, otherwise 2 or more
  • Dynamic Controls: adds a Loops effect for each property, so you can change the loop later
  • Auto-close window: closes the window after a run that looped something

Type

  • Cycle: repeats the keys
  • PingPong: plays the keys forward, then back
  • Offset: repeats the keys, each time starting from where the last pass ended
  • Continue: keeps the speed of the last key
  • Remove: removes the loop expressions and their Loops effects from the selected properties

How to use

  1. Select the properties you want to loop
  2. Choose Loop In, Loop Out or In & Out
  3. Set Keys if only part of the animation should loop
  4. Tick Dynamic Controls if you want to change the loop later
  5. Click Cycle, PingPong, Offset or Continue to apply the loop
  6. To take a loop off again, select the property and click Remove

Note

💡 Continue does not use the Keys value. Results show at the bottom of the window
