Options

  • Shape: Enables or disables the generation of the highlight shape layer in the picked style. Click the swatch or type a hex value to set its color
  • Text colour: Enables or disables recolouring the text as the highlight passes. Click the swatch or type a hex value to set the color
  • Stroke: Adjusts the thickness of the highlight line for Underline and Scribble styles
  • Offset: Sets the space between the baseline and the line for Underline and Scribble styles. A negative value moves it up
  • Margin: Adjusts the spacing between the text and the edges of the highlight shape for Textbox and Marker styles. The first field sets the width and Height sets the height

How to use

  1. Choose the text layers or select a specific text range you want to apply the highlight to
  2. Select a highlight style and configure the color and size options
  3. Click Generate Highlight to apply the effect to the selected layers or text range
  4. This will create shape layers with keyframes and gives you full control over color and stroke customization. You can fine-tune the animation timing, adjust the speed, or add extra keyframes to stop and resume the animation whenever needed.
