Scope
- Active Comp: exports the currently open composition
- Selected Comps: exports the compositions you've selected
- Selected Comps (Separate Project Files): exports each selected composition into a separate project file
Naming
- Naming: the name pattern of the exported project file(s). Type text, or click the ▼ on the left for presets and tokens such as
$comp,$projectand$date. The ▼ on the right lists your recent patterns - Export to: allows you to choose where to export
Options
- After export: what happens when the export is done: "Ask", "Open the original", "Open the exported file", "Reveal the exported file" or "Nothing"
- Collect into a folder next to each file: copies the footage each export uses into a footage folder next to the exported file and links the export to the copies. The original project is not changed
- Include comps linked by expressions: keeps the comps and footage that expressions point to, so the links still work in the exported file
Buttons
- Save & Export: saves the project file with the current changes and exports the project file(s)
- Export without save: exports the project file(s) from a copy. The current project is not saved
How to use
- Select what to export and specify its name
- Choose the export destination
- Click 'Save & Export' to save the current project and export, or 'Export without save' to export without saving it
