How to use

  1. First, select a composition
  2. Run the tool to create a camera rig and a layer with options
  3. Adjust the settings on the layer to get the perfect shot for your composition

Troubleshooting

If you’re having trouble controlling the camera rig, check out the potential solutions below.

[side]Basic Controls have superiority over other settings. Make sure these settings set to 0. Otherwise the Target Layers and Auto Movement features will be affected. The best way to avoid this is to reset the settings.

[side-left]Avoid using the native AE Camera Control tools to adjust the gizmo's orientation. This can break the rig. If you've already done this, try running the script again to create a new rig setup.

[side]Make sure your 3D view is set to Active Camera. You can change this from the 3D View dropdown at the bottom of the Composition panel. If it's set to a custom view or any fixed angle like Front or Top, the rig's movement won't be visible.
