Key Combinations

⌨️ ⌘/Ctrl + click selects layers based on the last input without UI

Options

  • All Layers in Composition: selects every Nth layer throughout the entire composition
  • Within Selected Layers: selects every Nth layer only among the layers you've already selected
  • Skip hidden layers: counts only the layers you can see: eye on, and not shy while Hide Shy Layers is on
  • Every: the N number. The tool takes one layer in each group of this many
  • Start at: which layer of each group is taken. 1 is the first

How to use

  1. Run the tool
  2. Choose "All Layers in Composition" or "Within Selected Layers"
  3. Input your 'N' number in Every, and the layer to begin with in Start at
  4. Click the Select Every Nth Layer button
  5. Hold Shift while clicking the button to add to the current selection
