💡 MoPack requires After Effects 2021+, or Premiere Pro 2021+

Summary

MoPack is an extension for After Effects and Premiere Pro with over 2900 customizable animations and 850 sound effects, all added to your project from one panel. It installs as a ZXP extension. The recommended way to install it is with the free ZXP/UXP Installer from aescripts + aeplugins, and it takes about two minutes. If that doesn't work on your machine, there's a manual method below.

Get the download

Download MoPack from the place you bought it.

  • VideoHive: log in to your Envato account, open Downloads, find MoPack and click Download, then choose Main File(s).
  • Gumroad: open your Gumroad library, or use the download link in your receipt email.

Unzip the download so you have MoPack.zxp in a folder you can find easily.

Install for After Effects

Install for Premiere Pro

Install with the ZXP Installer (recommended)

⚠️ Use the aescripts + aeplugins installer. Adobe's own ZXP installer is outdated and often fails.
  1. Download and install the free ZXP/UXP Installer from aescripts + aeplugins.
  2. Open the ZXP/UXP Installer.
  3. Drag MoPack.zxp into the window, or open it from the File menu.
  4. Wait for the confirmation message.
  5. Restart After Effects or Premiere Pro.

The same MoPack.zxp installs for both apps at once. You don't need to run it twice.

Manual installation

💡 Only use this method if the ZXP Installer fails.
  1. Rename MoPack.zxp to MoPack.zip, then unzip it to get a folder named MoPack.
  2. Move the MoPack folder to the Adobe extensions folder for your system:
    • PC: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
    • Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
  3. Restart After Effects or Premiere Pro.

Open MoPack and finish setup

  1. Open After Effects or Premiere Pro and go to Window > Extensions > MoPack.

  2. In After Effects, enable script permissions so MoPack can add elements to your project: go to After Effects > Settings > Scripting & Expressions (Windows: Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions) and tick "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network".

  3. The panel asks you to sign in on first launch. See Activation.
⚠️ If After Effects or Premiere Pro was open during the install, restart it to finalize the installation.

One of my folders is missing

If the extensions folder doesn't exist at the path above, create it yourself: add a folder named "extensions" in the CEP folder, then move MoPack into it.

I can't see file extensions

On Windows, open File Explorer, click the View tab, and tick "File name extensions". On Mac, in Finder go to Settings > Advanced and tick "Show all filename extensions".

How do I unzip a file

On Windows, right-click MoPack.zip and choose "Extract All". On Mac, double-click the zip file and it extracts automatically.

I don't have admin access

If you don’t have admin access, manually install the extension by copying files to the user path instead of the system path:

  • PC: C:\Users\*username\*AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
  • Mac:  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
